Professor Daniel Stahl

Daniel Stahl is a Professor of Medical Statistics and Statistical Modelling in the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London. His primary research interest lies in the application of statistical and machine learning methods to identify predictors, mediators, and moderators of treatment outcomes. He also focuses on using structural equation modelling to explore the pathways through which treatments affect cognitive processes, aiming to uncover the mechanisms underlying treatment efficacy and improve our understanding of individual differences in treatment response. As a Lead Trial Statistician, Daniel is responsible for overseeing the statistical aspects of several clinical trials within the IoPPN.
