College Implementation Sites for the METROPOLIS Trial

Our outreach activities are currently ongoing with a variety of colleges in Delhi. These include Hindu College, Sri Venkateswara College, Vivekananda College, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Ramanujan College, Jamia Millia Islamia and O.P. Jindal Global University. We have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with these colleges, allowing us to formally conduct outreach and recruitment activities on their campuses, as well as engage directly with students through in-person and digital means.
Student outreach activities are led by METROPOLIS Campus Ambassadors, who are our feet on the ground and who play a central role in recruiting students into the project. They have supported us by holding classroom and small group announcements, putting up posters and flyers on campus, distributing recruitment material like postcards, setting up information booths and sending email communications to students and using using WhatsApp groups and social media handles for digital dissemination.
These efforts aim to build awareness of the project and encourage student participation in a way that feels approachable, engaging, and inclusive. Involving students in bringing this intervention to the university community has been key to our successful recruitment and outreach efforts.
